Commencement of Registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua (FUMHSF) wishes to notify all newly admitted students about the registration exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The management of Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua (FUMHSF) wishes to notify all newly admitted students about the registration exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

1. Registration Period

The registration process is divided into two phases:

PHASE 1: ONLINE ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION

Monday, 5th January, 2026 — Sunday, 25th January, 2026

Complete your online registration, pay acceptance fee, upload documents, and print your Acceptance Letter via the University Portal.

PHASE 2: PHYSICAL REGISTRATION ON CAMPUS

Monday, 26th January, 2026 — Sunday, 8th February, 2026 (Two weeks)

Report to the University campus with your Acceptance Letter and original credentials for physical clearance and verification.

2. Late Registration

Students who miss the physical registration deadline may still register during a two-week grace period, subject to the following penalty:

  • ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) for each additional week beyond the closing date

PLEASE NOTE

No registration will be permitted after the grace period expires. Any student who does not complete registration by this time will lose their admission for this session and must apply for deferment.

3. How to Register

Invitations will be sent via email to all admitted candidates. Please follow these steps to complete your registration:

  1. Check your email for the official invitation from FUMHSF (invitations will be sent starting 2nd January, 2026 through 5th January, 2026)
  2. Log in to the University Portal at https://portal.fumhsf.edu.ng
  3. Complete your profile information
  4. Enter your O'Level results (WAEC/NECO)
  5. Upload required documents and a passport-worthy photograph
  6. Generate a payment invoice of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) via Remita
  7. Pay the fee using any payment method of your choice (bank transfer, card payment, bank branch, etc.)
  8. Complete your registration on the portal
  9. Print your Acceptance Letter

4. Physical Registration on Campus

After completing online registration, you are required to visit the University campus for physical registration and clearance.

PHYSICAL REGISTRATION DATE

Physical registration on campus begins on Monday, 26th January, 2026.

All newly admitted students must report to the University campus on or after this date for physical clearance and verification of credentials.

Please come with the following documents:

  • Your printed Acceptance Letter
  • Original copies of all your credentials (O'Level certificates, Birth Certificate, etc.)
  • Photocopies of all credentials

IMPORTANT

Ensure all your documents are intact and available for verification. The University will verify your credentials during the physical clearance process.

5. Fees Schedule (2025/2026 Session)

Below is the fee schedule for fresh students (100 Level, UTME entry):

Medicine and Surgery ₦273,000

Note: The above fees are for fresh UTME students entering at 100 Level for the 2025/2026 academic session.

6. Payment of School Fees

After physical clearance, proceed to pay your school fees as follows:

  1. Log in to the University Portal and generate your school fees invoice via Remita
  2. Pay using any Remita channel of your choice (bank branch, mobile app, internet banking, POS, ATM, etc.)
  3. Return to the portal to confirm your payment status

NOTE

Payment confirmation may take a few minutes to reflect on the portal. If your payment does not reflect after 24 hours, please contact the ICT Directorate or use the Support Feature on the portal.
