Opening of 2026/2027 Post-UTME Online Screening Registration Portal

The Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua, Katsina State, wishes to inform all prospective candidates seeking admission into the University’s various academic programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the Post-UTME Online Screening Registration Portal will be opened.

The details of the exercise are as follows:

1. Eligibility

Candidates who selected the University as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME and obtained the prescribed minimum UTME score for their chosen programme are eligible to apply.

The approved minimum UTME scores are as follows:

Candidates who did not initially select the University as their First Choice but wish to apply are required to effect a Change of Institution through JAMB to the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua, before participating in the screening exercise.

2. Registration Period

The online registration portal shall be open from Wednesday, 30th September 2026, to Wednesday, 21st October 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period. The portal will close at the expiration of the registration deadline.

3. Method of Application

Eligible candidates are required to follow the steps below:

1. Visit the University’s official admission portal at https://www.portal.fumhsf.edu.ng to create a profile account.
2. Complete the online screening form accurately and carefully.
3. Generate a Remita payment invoice of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only, and make payment online or at any designated bank branch, as applicable.
4. Upload all required documents, including:
   • JAMB Result Slip;
   • O’Level results (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB); and
   • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
5. Review all information supplied before submitting the application, and print/save the acknowledgement or application slip for future reference.

4. Important Information

1. The screening exercise will be conducted completely online. No physical screening will be conducted at this stage.
2. Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on both the University Admission Portal and the JAMB CAPS Portal.
3. Candidates are advised to use a valid and functional telephone number and email address throughout the registration process.
4. Candidates must ensure that all information supplied during registration is accurate, complete and verifiable. Any candidate who provides false or misleading information may be disqualified.
5. Candidates should carefully follow all instructions provided on the University’s admission portal.
6. Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated registration period will not be considered for the Post-UTME screening exercise.
7. Successful participation in the screening exercise does not constitute an automatic offer of admission. Admission shall be based on the University’s approved admission requirements, available spaces and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
