FUMHSF Announces Minimum UTME Cut-Off Marks for 2026/2027 Admissions

The Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua (FUMHSF) has approved the minimum UTME scores for admission into its ten undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. Candidates who chose FUMHSF as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME and met the indicated scores are advised to prepare for the forthcoming Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

PUBLIC NOTICE — 2026/2027 MINIMUM UTME SCORES APPROVED

MBBS: 220  |  Nursing Science: 200  |  Other Programmes: 170 – 180

Applies to candidates who selected FUMHSF as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME.

The Federal University of Medical & Health Sciences, Funtua (FUMHSF) hereby informs the general public and all prospective candidates seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the University has approved the following minimum UTME scores for admission into its undergraduate programmes.

Candidates who selected the Federal University of Medical & Health Sciences, Funtua as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained the minimum scores indicated below are encouraged to prepare for the forthcoming Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

General Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into any of the above programmes must:

  1. Have selected the Federal University of Medical & Health Sciences, Funtua as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME. Candidates who did not initially choose the University but wish to apply are required to effect a Change of Institution through JAMB before the screening exercise.
  2. Obtain the prescribed minimum UTME score for their chosen programme.
  3. Possess at least five (5) credit passes in the relevant O'Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than one sitting for the MBBS and at not more than two sittings for all other programmes, in accordance with the admission requirements for the chosen programme.
  4. Meet all additional requirements as stipulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the National Universities Commission (NUC), and relevant professional regulatory bodies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The date, guidelines, registration procedures, and other details for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be announced SOLELY on the University's official website.

Prospective candidates are therefore advised to regularly visit the University's official website at fumhsf.edu.ng for authentic information and further updates regarding the admission exercise.
